Since 2023, Academia Sinica and Campus Condorcet have continued to strengthen their partnership through ongoing exchanges. On May, 2023, Dr. James C. Liao the President of Academia Sinica led a delegation to visit Campus Condorcet in France. On May, 2024, Dr. Pierre‐Paul Zalio the President of Campus Condorcet visited Academia Sinica and joined a “Book Donation Ceremony,” during which both sides exchanged academic publications. Academia Sinica donated more than 380 Chinese and English volumes, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.
On September 2, 2025, Dr. Pierre‐Paul Zalio, President of Campus Condorcet, returned to Academia Sinica, accompanied by Dr. Pascale Laborier (Mission Université en Exil-UXIL, Campus Condorcet). The visit began with a symbolic book donation and signing ceremony, underscoring the deepening ties between the two institutions. Following this, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on academic freedom, democracy, and related humanistic issues, hosted by Academia Sinica President Dr. James C. Liao and moderated by Deputy Executive Secretary of Central Academic Advisory Council Dr. Miao-Fen Lu. Distinguished participants included Senior Advisor to the President of ROC Dr. Hsin-Huang Michael Hsiao, Director of Secretariat Dr. Roy Tseng, Director of Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy Dr. Kuan-Min Huang, Dr. Corrado Neri, Director of the CEFC Taipei, and Dr. Frank Muyard, Head of French School of Asian Studies.
Following the meeting, the delegation toured the Sinica Eco Pavilion, where they were warmly received by Dr. Benny K.K. Chan, Director of the Biodiversity Research Center. The visit further deepened the collaboration and reinforced the growing academic partnership between Campus Condorcet and Academia Sinica.
