A GLOBSEC delegation led by Chief Executive Officer Daniel Braun visited Academia Sinica on February 5, 2026, and was received by President James C. Liao. The discussion focused on policy and business initiatives that could facilitate Taiwan–Europe cooperation in security, defense, and technology. The two sides also exchanged views on critical supply chains, and concrete approaches to strengthening cooperation. In addition, they discussed maintaining engagement through continuous dialogue mechanisms, collaborative platforms, and the annual GLOBSEC Forum. The visit created an opportunity to connect Taiwan’s research capacity more closely with Europe’s security and policy research community.
