Professor Christina Moberg, former President of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and Professor Emerita at the School of Engineering Sciences in Chemistry, Biotechnology and Health at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, visited Academia Sinica on April 24, 2026. The visit was arranged by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, and Professor Moberg was received by Vice President Mei-Yin Chou. During the meeting, Professor Moberg provided an overview of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences’ procedures and institutional arrangements related to the Nobel Prizes. The two sides also exchanged perspectives on the research systems and academic development of Taiwan and Sweden. Professor Moberg met with Academia Sinica researchers in chemistry to discuss current research and topics of shared interest, thereby enhancing mutual understanding and exploring opportunities for continued academic exchange and cooperation.
