A 21-member delegation from Mahidol University, led by President Prof. Piyamitr Sritara, visited Academia Sinica on March 3, 2026. The delegation was warmly received by Dr. James C. Liao, President of Academia Sinica, alongside senior officials and research directors from both institutions.
Building upon an institutional MOU signed in 2024 and successful student placements in the Taiwan International Internship Program (TIIP), the meeting aimed to further strengthen bilateral ties. Discussions focused on sharing experiences in applying AI in healthcare, expanding student exchange opportunities, and initiating research collaborations at the PI level. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to fostering advanced research and joint talent cultivation.
